With reference to His Majesty's Minister's tale-
gram Tour Series number 67 of 25th March, I have the honour
to transmit herewith copy of a letter from the Hongkong and
Shanghai Bank at Shanghai, advising me that the sum of
£266,001-18-4, being the grant of £265,000 payable to the
Hongkong University under the terms of the China Indemnity
(Application Act) 1930 with interest as from Karch 3rd,, was
remitted on April 18 th by telegraphio transfer to London for
credit of the University's account.
